STORY

Turtle Island tells the story of an orphaned teen, Irene, who finds it hard to come in terms with the loss of her mother. 

She rebels against her Native American guardian and runs away from home.

Featuring a sublime weaving together of indigenous culture and social issues, the story follows Irene,

played by Hannah Marijon, on her heartfelt journey from a naive teenager to becoming a successful author.
